Changes to Blog/Food in Merida

Buenos Dias amigos, we changed the background of the blog to make it easier to view. We have also opened it up so anyone can access it as several people have had trouble with access in the past. Also a note, if you want to see the photos better, you can click on any of them to make them larger.

Pollo X'catic: Chicken breast with a Yucatan cheese sauce and vegetables with mashed potatoes.  The spikes are fried potato sticks.  Beautiful presentation and delicious melding of flavors.

Pimiento Morron Relleno: Stuffed poblano pepper with mixed veggies, raisins, & soy with cheese and Kool sauce.

Not everyone are foodies like us, but we love the beauty of good food, as well as the taste!  We tried an international restaurant yesterday called Amaro with some great vegetarian dishes.  Beautiful place and wonderful food, plus our waiter, Enrique, had a wonderful sense of humor, and the restaurant displayed wonderful, whimsical art!
